I'm Keiko Yoshida, live in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2006, I have mainly worked on book cover illustrations for novels.
The reason I decided to become an illustrator was because I was deeply moved and truly impressed by the many remarkable covers of The New Yorker. They have been a great source of motivation for my own creative work, and I believe that influence can be seen in the personal works on this website.
My ultimate goal is for my illustration to reach people's hearts, and to encourage them to take a step toward their own dreams.
My main materials are markers, colored pencils, and paper. I sometimes use stamps in my illustrations to add a print-like texture in specific areas — I enjoy the unique tone it creates. For the final touches, I use Photoshop.
